Why Gardiner Richardson feels like family

PR Account Director Sarah Banks and Studio Manager Andrea Murphy share their experiences as two of the longest serving members of the team.

Sarah and Andrea

“We have a combined 23 years at Gardiner Richardson and have gained a lot of experience in that time. We’ve seen a lot of changes and had lots of fun, but I guess the reason we’ve both stayed is that our achievements along the way have been recognised – in terms of appreciation and promotion. We’ve both found our confidence growing along with our knowledge and experience, and we feel we’ve been nurtured.

People naturally come and go and we’ve made lots of friends along the way who are still close friends now. It’s great that Gardiner Richardson seems to be able to consistently attract lovely people who also happen to be talented at what they do. We work with a great bunch of people and that counts for a lot.

We’ve also both been through some tough times in our personal lives and we received lots of support – and hugs – from the Directors and the wider team. It feels more like a family than anything – comfortable, but in a good way.”
