We have been demonstrating how public art is contributing to life in Sunderland after being chosen by Sunderland City Council, following a three-way pitch. Coverage, including on Tyne Tees TV and in the Journal and Northern Echo, has already been achieved for two new artworks. In addition to promoting individual works of art, we have been tasked with raising the profile of the City Council’s public art strategy – which is due to be launched later this year.
