Church High hits the national headlines
GR and Newcastle Church High School was thrilled to see Jessica and Olivia Topham hit the national headlines as they secured 20A*’s between them this GCSE results days.
The girls hit the pages of the Daily Telegraph, Metro, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail as well as the BBC, Yahoo and Sky News websites. The Journal captured the twins celebrating on the front page and they were the top news on radio stations across the region.
The twins from Gosforth were overjoyed with their results and couldn’t believe they hit the national headlines.
The independent school in Jesmond has had an incredible year with both GCSEs and A Levels and they have continued to dominant the regional media with their outstanding grades.
