Gardiner Richardson named Agency of the Year for the third time in four years

What a great end to a fantastic year as our PR team celebrates scooping two of the biggest prizes in the industry at the CIPR North East Pride Awards 2010 -Outstanding PR Consultancy and Outstanding Young Communicator.

This is the third time in four years that we’ve been awarded the prestigious
Outstanding PR Consultancy of the year accolade, having narrowly missed out with silver last year. We also picked up the highly coveted Outstanding Young Communicator award - given to our PR Account Manager Katherine Shenton for her outstanding client and media work.

The PRide Awards, organised by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, recognise excellence and achievements within the industry each year.

Lucy Gardiner director at Gardiner Richardson, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to pick up these two awards – a huge testament to our fantastic PR team which is experienced, knowledgeable and ambitious.

“Agency of the Year is the one we always want to win as it recognises the commercial success of the business, the strength and management of our team, and our continual investment into individuals and the agency as a whole. I am also extremely proud of Katherine who has been with us for two years and is both an inspirational and dedicated PR professional who demonstrates first class account work.”

The awards cap off a very successful year for us - we have recently been appointed to manage national PR campaigns for the Royal Institute of British Architects, the School Food Trust and Tesco’s Great School Run. Existing clients include English Heritage, Penn State Pretzels, Pen Shop, Faber-Castell, Northumberland Tourism and Balance North East.
