We are currently working with the UK’s leading pretzel manufacturer, Penn State Snacks, on an integrated marketing campaign encompassing digital, project and event management, PR, social media and design, encouraging customers to Release the Flavour of the Penn State pretzel and deli chip range.
The Release the Flavour pop-up garden party is currently touring the UK, visiting 14 cities across the country including Leeds, Edinburgh, Nottingham, London and Brighton. The stylish roadshow is attracting huge crowds on high streets with its striking black picket fence, deckchairs, branded Range Rover and traditional garden games.
Promotional teams will be distributing over 100,000 samples of the Penn State range during the six week tour, as well as capturing data to help Penn State, owned by international parent company Intersnack, understand more about their customers.
Microsite www.releasetheflavour.co.uk has launched, as well as competitions running on blogs handbag.com and allaboutyou.com. Waitrose is also running six-sheet posters outside stores nationally.
As part of the social media activity the Penn State Snacks Facebook page is regularly updated and the on-street team regularly ‘check-in’ with Four Square, to let people in the area know where and what the Penn State team are doing. Since the campaign launched at the start of the summer holidays over 100 new fans have joined the page and over 90 people have entered the competition via the microsite.
