We've been working with North East England Chamber of Commerce to launch a new identity for a new generation.
Today sees the reveal of the new identity and website we have been working on for the Chamber. It's an exciting new chapter for the 200 year old business membership organisation.
Looking to the future and what the next decade may hold, the Chamber have asked GR to refresh their logo and overall look. We've also designed a new website to go with it.
We've been inspired by the distinctive narrative behind their identity; the new logo reflects a nautical theme, and symbolises both the strength and togetherness of the Chamber. The four sub-regions and three industrial rivers are represented in the design, with the knot symbolising "strength together". A complementary wave motif will be used across digital and print communications.
The Chamber are a key organisation in the North East, supporting over 4000 businesses –that's around a third of the local work force.
