Picture Perfect for GR Designer

One of our Senior Designers Ross Pichler, has recently been crowned winner of a nation-wide photography competition, ran by the coveted London newspaper The Evening Standard in collaboration with Newcastle University’s ‘Changing Age’ campaign.

The national competition celebrated the end of a year-long programme organised by Newcastle University which launched the ‘Changing Age’ initiative; spotlighting the challenges facing UK society as we live longer.

The Changing Age campaign drew together a range of historic and contemporary artworks showing the many different ways artists have examined the effects, wisdom and the achievements of ageing.

The competition involved entrants creating images which brought a fresh perspective and insight into age and the ageing process - a continuous process which affects us all.

Although inundated with artist’s impressions of ageing, it was Ross’ thought provoking image which caught the attention of the judges and saw him being crowned as one of five UK winners.

A final winner will be picked from the five finalists within the next few weeks and we have everything crossed that Ross will go on to achieve further success within the competition. Good luck Ross!
