Our work for the North East Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NEIP) on behalf of councils across the North East is now well underway. Our first project focussed on the recycling of small electrical items to coincide with the theme of this year’s national Recycle Week.
A giant kettle toured the North East during the week, stopping off at Middlesbrough, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Morpeth and Durham. The ‘street art’ drew attention from passer’s by across the region as promotional teams handed out leaflets and engaged with residents letting them know what they could recycle and where.
Photographs of the days were also picked up by local media, with coverage in The Morpeth Herald, Northern Echo, Middlesbrough Evening Gazette, Journal, Chronicle and Whitley Bay News Guardian.
We also produced promotional items including t-shirts, fridge magnets, leaflets, posters and online banner ads which have been sent to each of the 12 local authorities for use throughout the year.
Anyone wishing to hire the street art for an event should contact Susan Howard on 07810 051098.
