Stopping the spread of Swine Flu

Our design and project management teams have this month been busy working with NHS North East to raise awareness of ways to prevent the spread of Swine Flu, particularly amongst those vulnerable groups most at risk from contracting the virus.

Working with the team at NHS North East, we created 30,000 packs each containing anti-bacterial hand gel, a pen designed in the shape of a syringe to remind people to get the Swine Flu vaccination and a pack of handkerchief’s with the campaign slogan, Catch It, Bin It, Kill It.

As well as targeting vulnerable groups, the campaign also sought to raise awareness amongst NHS staff who are working directly with those most at risk, particularly people who are pregnant, have breathing difficulties, heart conditions, liver disease or diabetes.

A mobile unit with on street teams distributed the packs in 17 areas across the North East region, in town and city centres and hospital car parks. NHS staff were also on hand to answer any questions.
