Students Go Underground with Metro

We’ve just launched a brand new campaign for long standing client Tyne & Wear Metro targeting the regions’ students, the first time a campaign of this nature has been run. It’s based around an interactive website www.go-underground.co.uk that gives students the inside track to over 250 suggestions of where to eat, drink, shop and explore the culture of Tyne & Wear – all, of course, within walking distance of Tyne and Wear Metro stations. We’ve researched, written, designed and built the site on our bespoke content management system.

The campaign is also backed by an advertising campaign which reaches across print, ambient, online and broadcast media. And, as you’d expect, we’ve organised a strong presence at the Fresher’s Week for Northumbria, Newcastle and Sunderland University, and in student materials including handbooks and fresher’s packs. In addition to recommendations on where to go and what to do in the region, the website also offers students regular opportunities to win prizes from IPods to XBOX products, and features up-to-date information on food and drinks offers.
