It's amazing what you can discover when you know where to look.

The £14.2m Sill project will become the UK’s first dedicated Landscape Discovery Centre when it opens in 2017.

We were appointed by the Northumberland National Park (NNP) and Youth Hostel Association (YHA) to raise awareness amongst the local community, key local stakeholders and regional and national tourism bodies during the pre-planning stages of the Sill development. We're also supporting the NNP and YHA in their HLF funding bid and in the securing of other local funders and partners.

As well as advising and delivering on media responses and profile building on an ongoing basis, we have worked with the NNP, YHA and other key partners in the development of a fully integrated and costed five year communications strategy and plan post planning and security of the HLF grant.

Since our appointment the partnership has secured both planning permission and funding to build The Sill, with work on site beginning 2015.
